Terms of Service

Last updated 20 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Orbit, an AI-native learning and work platform operated by Orbit (“Orbit”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Orbit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Orbit.

1. Who can use Orbit

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepts these Terms on your behalf. Orbit is available internationally; you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you live.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

3. Learning, credentials, and the AI Passport

Orbit evaluates the work you submit and may award progress, levels, and the AI Passport credential based on objective, rule-based criteria. AI assists with feedback and scoring, but credentials, unlocks, and any payments are decided by deterministic rules — not by the AI alone. We may review, withhold, or revoke a credential where we reasonably believe it was obtained through dishonesty, plagiarism, or a breach of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of Orbit is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: learn honestly, respect others, and do not misuse the platform or the AI coach.

5. Payments and marketplace

Some features and tiers are paid. Prices, taxes, and supported payment methods may vary by country and are shown before you pay. Where Orbit connects you to paid work through the marketplace, Orbit is a platform that facilitates introductions; we are not your employer and do not guarantee work, income, or outcomes. Fees, refunds, and cancellation terms for any paid plan are presented at the point of purchase.

6. Intellectual property

Orbit and its content, curriculum, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the work you create, and you grant Orbit a licence to host, process, and evaluate it so we can provide the service and verify your credential.

7. AI-generated content

Orbit’s coach uses large language models. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for learning support only. It is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Always apply your own judgement.

8. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Orbit available but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or end accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law and changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the new version here with a revised date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Local mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country always apply in addition to these Terms.
